34B vs 34C vs 32C: What Actually Changes Between Sizes

Same band, one letter apart. The ribcage measurement is identical, so both bras fit the same torso; the 34C simply has a deeper cup that holds roughly one inch more bust difference. In practical terms that is about 150 to 200 cc of extra volume, enough to be the difference between cups that gape and cups that spill.

If your 34B leaves the cup edge cutting a line across your tissue, 34C is the fix. If your 34C wrinkles at the top with room to spare, 34B is. Neither is a bigger or smaller body; they are two shells fitted to the same frame.

This is the comparison that breaks intuition. Both say C, but the 32C sits on a two-inch narrower ribcage, and since the letter measures difference from that band, a 32C holds noticeably less volume than a 34C. Letters are ratios, not amounts.

The confusion starts across borders. UK sizing runs D, DD, E, F, FF, G. Four fingers means the band is too big, and the 34D is your size even if you have worn 36C for a decade.
